Ruby and plum colours with a faint orange ring around the glass let you know this is pinot. These are further enforced with cherry, cigarbox, and a slight beet earthiness classic of the varietal. On the palate the wine is fruit forward, filling the mouth with cherry, and a noticeable tannic grip can be offset with a little decanting or swirling.
